Not only artists can go on tour. The audience can do so too. Many of the great European opera houses stage Mozart operas this October - a first overview for you:

The ruthless seducer of women at the opera house in Zurich

Only two more times, on October 6th and 11th, will Don Giovanni break the hearts of innocent women at the opera house in Zurich. In 1787, Mozart was persuaded by his enthusiastic audience in Prague to compose this opera after the monumental triumph of “The Marriage of Figaro”. The Austrian baritone Markus Werba sings the part of Don Giovanni, the soprano Marina Rebeka the Donna Anna. Director Sebastian Baumgarten from Berlin is responsible for the production. An evident success - after all, this is already the thirteenth rendition of this production, which has been celebrated in the press. If you want to spend some time in this fascinating German metropolis, why not treat yourself to Idomeneo, Mozart’s great choral opera, on October 6th as well?
